The UK’s LEGOLAND Discovery Centres, in Manchester and Birmingham, are reopening tomorrow with special measures in place.
Both of the UK’s LEGOLAND Discovery Centre locations, Manchester and Birmingham, have been closed since March 20 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and restrictions to limit its spread. Now, they are reopening with special processes in place to make it as a safe as possible for guests and employees.
Given how hands-on and indoors the child targeted attractions are, they face difficulty in maintaining social distancing.
Each day there will be at least one ‘Play Session’, which is a scheduled visit that sees guests go around the attraction in a set order. First will be a ride through, before the opportunity to explore Miniland, followed by the 3D cinema and another ride. Each child will be given an individual bag of bricks to build with, rather than having them dive into brick pits.
Enhanced cleaning is also assured on the attraction websites.
Tickets must be booked in advance, and anyone who had a ticket for a date when the venues were closed can use it now that LEGOLAND Discovery Centre is open again.
