Four new episodes of The Toys That Made Us launch today, including one focused on LEGO.
The Toys That Made Us is a Netflix documentary series that lunched last year, with each episode focusing on a different classic toy. Four new episodes are released today on Netflix, including one about the LEGO brick. In addition to the classic Danish construction toy, the new episodes cover Transformers, Star Trek and Hello Kitty.
In the LEGO episode, the series will cover the early years of the company and production of plastic toys, through the difficult near bankruptcy right up to the present day. As with the previously released episodes, a positive nostalgic tone will be evoked throughout.
To find out just what went into the production and more about the creator of the show’s own LEGO fandom, Brick Fanatics interviewed Brian Volk-Weiss during production of the new episodes.
The Toys That Made Us is available now on Netflix.
