The poll to choose the 150th LEGO BrickHeadz set is now closed

Time’s up on the LEGO Ideas poll to choose the 150th BrickHeadz model, which could be themed around any one of Star Wars, Jaws, Minecraft or Lilo and Stitch.

LEGO fans have spent the past week voting for their favourite of those four themes. The winning choice will be adapted into a BrickHeadz model – the 150th since the theme’s launch. Given the poll originally asked voters to also suggest a specific character, the eventual set will likely encompass only a single character in turn.

The LEGO Ideas team will now process and verify the votes to come up with a winner. There’s no word yet on how long that will take or when the winning theme will be announced, but keep an eye on Brick Fanatics. We’ll let you know as soon as we can. News on the set’s release date will apparently follow at the same time.

According to recent rumours, newLEGOBrickHeadzfor 2021 will include 40476 Daisy Duck and 40477 Scrooge McDuck with Huey, Duey & Louie.

21324 123 Sesame Street is the latest model to come from the LEGO Ideas platform. Next year it will be joined by The Earth GlobeandLegendary Stratocaster.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
