Following a trailer showcased at the Lucasfilm panel at Star Wars Celebration 2022, more footage has revealed further details that may reflect future LEGO sets.
Mando+, a panel at Star Wars Celebration focusing on The Mandalorian and other Star Wars shows available on Disney+, took place yesterday, May 28, 2022. The teams from the various series were in attendance to reveal more details. We’ve already reported that Ahsoka has been announced to feature Rebels characters.
However, more footage from the third season of The Mandalorian was showcased at the panel, confirming new characters and vehicles for the show.
According to Star Wars Stuff, the footage featured two Anzellan, the same species as Babu Frik from The Rise of Skywalker. That might open up the possibility of small minifigures for them in any potential sets based on The Mandalorian Season 3.
An Imperial Star Destroyer was also spotted. Considering that 75252 Imperial Star Destroyer retires at the end of 2022, this cold be an opportunity for the LEGO Star Wars design team to create a new version of the ship.
The Mandalorian Season 3 will release in February 2023 on Disney+.
