The stars are turning out to the biggest premiere of the year in this build from Daniel Konstanski, who has taken 10232 Palace Cinema as the basis for The LEGO Batman Movie premiere.
The LEGO Batman Movie is a big event, arguably the biggest LEGO event of the year. Here at Brick Fanatics, we felt it only appropriate to throw a brick-based premiere, so we decorated 10232 Palace Cinema for the occasion. It took crowds of minifigures, custom decals, numerous bat-shapes and a tiled red carpet to put together a premiere big enough for Batman.
Enjoy these images of this exclusive build, as we count down to the release of The LEGO Batman Movie.
The positioning of minifigures is important for capturing the motion and buzz of a film premiere.
Custom labels are used throughout the build to reflect the movie’s marketing. Here, Harley Quinn enjoys her moment in the spotlight as the photographers snap away.
Including the bat symbol is an absolute must.
Reporters, no doubt from fine LEGO websites, are on hand to interview the stars as they walk the red carpet.
The spotlights surrounding the cinema have been adorned with bat-logos, adding to the theme.
For the cinema’s windows, custom stickers were printed based on the real The LEGO Batman Movie posters.
The arrival of the feature’s star was a highlight for the crowds.
Here are few more shots from around the build.
The LEGO Batman Movie is in cinemas February 10. The LEGO Batman Movie range of LEGO sets are currently available to buy at shop.LEGO.com.
