The first reviews of LEGO Ideas 21327 Typewriter are already online

The first reviews of LEGO Ideas 21327 Typewriter are starting to pop up online, offering you a closer look at the highly anticipated set’s details.

Complete with a printed letter from a member of the original LEGO family and made from 2,079 pieces, 21327 Typewriter is a brick-built and highly realistic rendition of the real-life machine. It started off as a LEGO Ideas entry from Steve Guinness and fans have been watching closely as more and more rumours started surfacing over the last few months.

Now, the set has finally been revealed and the reviews are flooding in. Among them, LEGO YouTuber Solid Brix Studios has shared his thoughts on the design, price, build, and more in a video. Firstly, he addresses thehuge changethat the LEGO Group designers made to Steve’s original model.

“Doing sand green I think was a great choice,” comments the YouTuber. “This has a really nice contrast to it.”

Solid Brix Studios goes on to note that the reason behind the hefty price tag of £179.99 / $199.99 / €199.99 is likely that each key is a printed element. For him, the cost of the set overall is a little high, but the details, unique pieces, and attractive final build are all big plus points in his final verdict.
