Yesterday’s World Wish Day was marked by a teenager receiving a bumper LEGO Star Wars shopping spree.
Evan, a teenager in Southern Nevada, was diagnosed with a vascular disorder last August. Yesterday, Make-A-Wish celebrated World Wish Day by surprising him with a donation of LEGO Star Wars sets.
The teen is undergoing tests to see if he should have surgery or if radiation and chemotherapy will best treat him. It has been difficult for him and his family to travel between Las Vegas and Los Angeles for treatment.
Evan’s Grandmother nominated him, with Make-A-Wish answering his LEGO ‘shopping spree’ wish with a huge delivery of LEGO Star Wars sets – as LEGO Stores are closed as a result of measures to combat the spread of coronavirus.
“I’m kind of excited about the whole thing,” he told the local 3 News Las Vegas.
“Keep believing keep dreaming never give up hopes and dreams anything is possible even in this time,” his mother said.
