Spruce up your home with LEGO 40460 Roses and 40461 Tulips

The LEGO Group has added 40460 Roses and 40461 Tulips to its online store, giving us a better look at its latest adventure in buildable home décor.

If you’re tired of the responsibility that comes with real flowers, these plastic plants should be right up your street. 40460 Roses builds two red roses, while 40461 Tulips builds… three different tulips. You probably didn’t need us to explain that to you.

Both of these sets are also a cost-effective alternative to the larger 10280 Flower Bouquet, which will launch alongside them in January. If you don’t have the budget, space or wherewithal to assemble an entire bouquet, 40460 Roses and 40461 Tulips should provide an easier entry point into the blooming LEGO flower scene. (That’s not a sentence we ever thought we’d type.)

Both sets are currently listed on LEGO.com in the UK and Germany, so we can bring you the GBP and Euro prices. USD is yet to be confirmed. Here’s the full details for both sets, along with all the official images:

40460 Roses
120 pieces | £11.99 / €12.99

40461 Tulips
111 pieces | £8.99 / €9.99

Both of these sets are listed as ‘Coming Soon’ at LEGO.com. Expect them to launch on January 1.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
