Spider-Man: No Way Home swings into cinemas today

Spider-Man: No Way Home is finally swinging into cinemas in the UK and much of Europe today, taking Doctor Strange and Peter Parker into the multiverse.

No spoilers here – we’re yet to see the webslinger’s third Marvel Cinematic Universe outing – but going by the trailers for (and LEGO sets released alongside) No Way Home, it looks like things are going seriously south for Spidey in this one.

Whether you’re fresh back from the cinema or are gearing up to go, check out our (also spoiler-free) review of 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop, the only one of the three latest Spider-Man sets to be explicitly marketed as tying in with No Way Home.

The other two – 76184 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio’s Drone Attack and 76195 Spider-Man’s Drone Duel – are apparently based on Spider-Man: Far From Home and Spider-Man: Homecoming respectively, although the latter set does include the wall-crawler’s black and gold suit from the new movie.

Whether those two sets have any closer relevance to the events of No Way Home can only be determined by heading down to your local multiplex, or by checking back with Brick Fanatics once we’ve had chance to catch it.

Spider-Man: No Way Home arrives in cinemas in the US on Friday, December 17. 76184 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio’s Drone Attack, 76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop and 76195 Spider-Man’s Drone Duel are available now.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
