Spider-Man: No Way Home becomes biggest movie of 2021 with $1 billion at the box office

Following this weekend’s box office results, Spider-Man: No Way Home has officially become the biggest movie of 2021 with $1 billion.

The latest entry in the current Spider-Man movie saga has had another incredible weekend, with its box office total now reaching $1 billion. Not only does that make Spider-Man: No Way Home the biggest film of 2021, but it also earns it the third-highest ever Christmas Day gross, with $31.7 million, just behind Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

Spider-Man: No Way Home debuted on December 15 around the world to five-star reviews and fan adulation. The movie has been shrouded in secrecy, with a surprising number of its plot points not having yet been leaked or spoilt. We definitely recommend you go see it soon though, before someone drops the ball and ruins it for you.

There are currently only threeLEGOSpider-Man: No Way Home sets available —76195 Spider-Man’s Drone Duel,76184 Spider-Man vs. Mysterio’s Drone Attackand76185 Spider-Man at the Sanctum Workshop, but only the latter ties directly into the film. There are also rumours of possible sets based on No Way Home and the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy coming in 2022.
