With everything else that went off at the weekend I missed that it was Shakespeare’s 400th birthday and LEGO celebrated this with a video. The company recreated scenes from Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer’s Nights Dream. Sure, there a few historic anomalies — did Shakespeare really have an iPhone? — but it’s all in good, plastic fun.
It’s some of civilization’s greatest theater reduced to tiny little plastic peg heads. What more do you want out of a YouTube video than that?
