Save on LEGO display cases and stands with iDisplayit this Black Friday

Look out for exclusive deals from iDisplayit andBrick Fanaticslater this month, with top-secret LEGO offers set to be revealed on Black Friday.

Whether you’re fighting a losing battle with dust or just want a more dynamic way to show off your sets, iDisplayit has the answer, with a vast range of display stands and display cases for sets of all shapes and sizes – and 2021 marks the 15th anniversary of one of the first manufacturers of bespoke display cases for LEGO sets, Hot Toys and other collectibles.

The team behind iDisplayit originally set up Pure Display Limited in 2006 as a family-run business, creating display solutions for retail stores. At the same time, their LEGO collection kept growing, and they spotted a gap in the market for display cases to protect sets from dust – including their beloved collection of modular buildings.

Years of testing and research followed, and after a couple of failed attempts with glue and hooks, the team came up with the innovative solution for display cases they still use today: bespoke screw fittings. iDisplayit finally debuted in 2015, and has been going strong ever since.

The retailer’s current catalogue spans the entire spectrum of use cases, from single-set display stands to display cases that can hold multiple models. You’ll also find display solutions for some of the LEGO Group’s most unwieldy sets – a coffee table for your UCS Millennium Falcon, for instance – through to small and simple display cases for minifigures.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
