New rumoured release date for LEGO Creator Expert 10303 Roller Coaster
The latest rumoured release date for 10303 Roller Coaster suggests we’ll be waiting a little longer than expected for the ambitious – and unconfirmed – LEGO Creator Expert set.
Word of a follow-up to 2018’s 10261 Roller Coaster has been doing the rounds for a few months now, and if those rumours are accurate, it sounds like it’s going to deliver on the one thing missing from the last set: a loop. According to the most recent report, it’s also going to do so with a smaller piece count (and, therefore, a cheaper price tag) than its predecessor.
That all sounds like a dream come true for Fairground Collection aficionados, but it is tinged with a little bad news: you may not be able to add it to your own LEGO theme park for a little while yet. Instagram user falconbrickstudios reports (via brick_clicker) that 10303 Roller Coaster will actually launch on July 1, 2022.

• Four things we’d love to see in a new LEGO roller coaster
Initial reports of the new coaster pegged it to either a May or June release, but those rumours now appear to have been a little optimistic. Given we’re yet to hear much more about 10303 Roller Coaster beyond a supposed piece count of 3,756 elements and a price tag of $349.99 – a full $30 cheaper than 10261 Roller Coaster – it’s perhaps not too surprising that it’s still a little way off landing on shelves.
That’s if it exists at all, of course, and there’s still a chance that this rumour could end up being false (or otherwise inaccurate on the details). For now, take it all with a pinch of salt – but it has been a couple of years since our last Fairground Collection set in 10273 Haunted House…

- I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
