Everyone’s racing to find out LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s biggest secret

The race is on to discover LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga’s biggest secret: what do you get for completing the game?

Head to the in-game holoprojector (or ‘menu’, in classic video game lingo) and navigate to the ‘extras’ tab, and under the ‘general’ section you’ll find a list of four options – the third of which teases a mysterious ‘100% Completion Reward’.

“The galaxy is vast, and only the most determined adventurer will be able to uncover 100% of what it has to offer,” the flavour text reads. “Rumour has it that those who achieve this incredible feat will be rewarded in the Great Temple on Yavin 4!”

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has only been out for a day, and with so much to explore and unlock – including more than 20 planets, nearly 400 characters (before you dig into the DLC) and 45 levels across nine movies – we’re likely some way off finding out exactly what that reward is, but the community is already speculating over on reddit.

One suggestion is that it could be a playable George Lucas minifigure, for example, mirroring LEGO Marvel Super Heroes’ unlockable Stan Lee character. Or it could be the feted Force Ghost minifigures, which are curiously absent from the game despite being among the best characters in the original LEGO Star Wars video games. (They were invincible, after all.)

Or – given you’ll find the reward at Yavin 4 – it could just be Chewbacca with a medal, righting the infamous wrong from the end of A New Hope. You know, the one J.J. Abrams already went to painstaking lengths to correct in The Rise of Skywalker. But fingers crossed it’s something more exciting than that…

Regardless, the race is on to find out first – and being the one to do so would give you some serious bragging rights.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
