More details on rumoured Mandalorian-themed LEGO Star Wars advent calendar

More details have emerged on this year’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar, including which of the rumoured Mandalorian minifigures will be getting an Xmas makeover.

The first reports on the 2021 calendar pegged it as focusing almost entirely on The Mandalorian, with six characters said to be in the mix: Din Djarin, Grogu, IG-11, a Stormtrooper, a Scout Trooper and a Tusken Raider.

Promobricks has now come through with a little more info on what to expect from 75307 Star Wars Advent Calendar, claiming that Mando and Baby Yoda will feature exclusive Christmas-themed torsos. Whether those will follow in the footsteps of the classic Santa Vader and Santa Jango minifigures or last year’s Christmas jumper characters remains to be seen.

The same source has also listed the specific mini-builds we can expect to see included across the calendar’s 24 windows. Spoiler alert: we’re about to publish them all here, so if you’d prefer to be surprised, scroll past the next couple of paragraphs.

According to Promobricks, the 335-piece 75307 Star Wars Advent Calendar will contain microscale models of the Razor Crest, Moff Gideon’s Light Cruiser, Cobb Vanth’s speeder bike, an X-wing, a TIE Fighter, an Imperial Troop Transport, a blue Landspeeder, a Tusken ballista, an E-Web blaster, and the customary weapon racks.

If that list is accurate, it gives a little extra credibility to a couple of this summer’s other rumoured LEGO Star Wars sets – namely Moff Gideon’s Light Cruiser and the Imperial Troop Transport. It is a little surprising to see a model of Cobb Vanth’s speeder bike in the list, though, given we don’t yet have an actual Cobb Vanth minifigure.

Remember, these are all just rumours for now, but we’ll hopefully find out more about this year’s LEGO Star Wars advent calendar in due course. The annual release normally happens on September 1, and Promobricks suggests the same will be true of this year’s festive set.
