LEGOLAND Windsor shares reopening preparations

Ahead of the theme park’s reopening tomorrow, ITV’s This Morning crew visited LEGOLAND Windsor Resort.

Tomorrow sees the easing of coronavirus restrictions in the UK, with many venues able to reopen for the first time since the country was locked down to reduce the spread of the pandemic. One place that will be welcoming guests back is LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, with the theme park having special measures prepared to reduce risk.

This Morning, the ITV morning television show, sent presenter Josie Gibson to the attraction to find out what is being done to help protect guests, including the park operating at 33% capacity. Two LEGO characters illustrate how socially distanced queuing will be in place. Pre-booking will be required for the rest of the 2020 season.

You’ll be used to a lot of the new measures, such as social distancing in queues and being encouraged to use cards rather than cash, as these have become the new normal when visiting supermarkets and other shops.

But in preparation for reopening we have reviewed how we operate every single part of the Park and Hotels to make sure that you have a brilliant, safe visit. Some things to expect include a pre-book ticket system to manage visitor numbers and different seating arrangements on rides.
