LEGOLAND New York Resort seeks Kid Reporters

As Merlin Entertainments seeks to spread awareness about the launch of LEGOLAND New York Resort in 2020, the theme park operator is looking for Kid Reports to help spread the word.

To showcase the new LEGOLAND New York Resort that is set for a 2020 opening the theme park is looking for Kid Reports. LEGO loving children who wish to be considered for the role should get an adult to help them show why they would be the right choice to take audiences on a virtual tour of the new US based attraction.

Kid Reporters will get plenty of unique play opportunities, but according to the LEGOLAND website will also need to cover events including the First to Play launch day in April. They will product at least four further reports before the resort’s 2020 opening.

In return for their hard work, children who are selected will receive four annual passes to LEGOLAND New York Resort and a commemorative, one-off LEGO build.

Anyone wishing to be considered as a Kid Reporter should create and post a one-minute video on Facebook with the hashtag #LLNYKidReporter, showing why they would be the ideal candidate, as well as e-mailing the video to llny.kidreporter@LEGOLAND.com, with the child’s name, age, location and school. Full details are available at the LEGOLAND New York Resort website.

Kid Reporters must be between 6-12 years old and live within 100 miles of Goshen, NY. The deadline for applications is February 7.
