Merlin Entertainments has confirmed that its brand new LEGO Pirates attraction will be ready to set sail at LEGOLAND Florida Resort this winter.
From November 2, visitors will be able to climb aboard Pirate River Quest, an action-packed boat ride that takes voyagers on an epic adventure along Lake Eloise in search of Captain Redbeard’s lost treasure.
A stop-motion teaser video featuring the hapless LEGO pirate has been created to showcase the family-friendly attraction.
Guests will hear tales about rowdy pirates and encounter flamingos, monkeys and a kraken as they navigate their way through the Cypress Gardens area of the resort with their shipmate, Calico Jade.
Pirate River Quest is one of several new attractions that were announced at an event celebrating the resort’s 10-year anniversary last year. LEGOLAND Florida already features a 150-room Pirate Island Hotel, making it an ideal vacation destination for sun-seeking swashbucklers.
The LEGO Pirates theme is certainly proving popular at the moment, with themed events set to take place at both of the UK’s LEGOLAND Discovery Centres throughout the summer too.
