LEGO Winter Village 10293 Santa’s Visit available now for VIPs

LEGO VIP members in the UK and Europe can now enjoy Christmas in September with 10293 Santa’s Visit, available exclusively at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores.

This year’s Winter Village addition is a little more grounded in reality than last year’s 10275 Elf Club House and 2019’s 10267 Gingerbread House, depicting a family getting into the holiday spirit in their cosy, bright blue home.

The 1,445-piece set rings in at £79.99 in the UK and from €89.99 in Europe, and while it doesn’t go on general sale until October 1, members of the LEGO Group’s loyalty program can buy it right now. If you’re not already signed up, it’s absolutely free to do so – and in return, you’ll get benefits including points to spend on future purchases, and early access to sets like 10293 Santa’s Visit.

The seasonal set is also packed with functions and storytelling moments, from Santa dropping down the chimney and the light-up Christmas tree to fireplace with stockings and cookies and milk awaiting Santa’s arrival. It looks like a real treat from designer Chris McVeigh, who also managed to sneak in a reference to his family’s own sweet treats.

If you still need to catch up on recent Winter Village Collection sets, you can also grab 10267 Gingerbread House and 10275 Elf Club House at the same time, in what’s sure to be a very merry order.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
