What is LEGO VIP Weekend?

LEGO VIP Weekend offers the chance to take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals a full week early. The separate shopping event is open exclusively for LEGO VIP members – so you’ll need to sign up to the LEGO Group’s loyalty program if you want to bag any of the deals.

When is LEGO VIP Weekend 2021?

LEGO VIP Weekend 2021 is happening this weekend – November 20 and 21 – ahead of Black Friday on November 26. While the LEGO Group has mostly managed to meet demand for its sets throughout 2021, there’s a chance that any sets intended for Black Friday deals could sell out during LEGO VIP Weekend.

LEGO price increases in 2022

LEGO sets including 31109 Pirate Ship, 75255 Yoda and 76191 Infinity Gauntlet are said to be part of the LEGO Group’s new pricing changes in 2022, which the company says will see some RRPs ‘go down and up’. If you don’t want to risk paying more for the rumoured 27 sets further down the line, LEGO VIP Weekend could be your best bet for grabbing them before they get too expensive – while simultaneously taking advantage of double VIP points and multiple gifts-with-purchase.

What is the LEGO VIP program?

The LEGO VIP program is the LEGO Group’s loyalty scheme, offering rewards for shopping directly at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores. You’ll earn points across all purchases that can be spent on future orders and exclusive rewards, receive early access to brand new sets, and be able to participate in shopping events like LEGO VIP Weekend.

Is LEGO VIP free to join?

Absolutely: there are no fees to sign up to the LEGO VIP program, and you won’t need to pay anything to stay a member, either. All the benefits accorded by the program are completely free of charge (beyond the sets you’ll buy to earn them), so there’s basically no reason not to sign up.

How do you earn LEGO VIP points?

You’ll earn LEGO VIP points simply by making purchases at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores (once you’re signed up to the program). In the UK, you’ll earn 800 points for every £100 spent. You can then redeem those 800 points (or multiples thereof) for a £5 rewards voucher to spend on future purchases, which means you’re basically earning 5% back as standard on purchases. The LEGO Group also runs double points events throughout the year, equal to 10% cashback.

How much are LEGO VIP points worth?

If you’re redeeming your points for rewards vouchers to spend on future sets, which range in value from £5 to £100, they’re worth the equivalent of 0.625p each. Some rewards in the LEGO VIP Rewards Centre will make your points worth more money based on the value of the item you’re redeeming them for.

How do I get a LEGO VIP discount code?

If you’ve earned enough LEGO VIP points to redeem them for a rewards voucher, you can do so by logging into your VIP account at LEGO.com. Head to the VIP Rewards Centre, hit the ‘Rewards’ tab, and redeem your points for the voucher value of your choice, to be used either online or in-store. (Note that you must choose where you’d like to spend your voucher at this point – a LEGO.com voucher can’t be used in a LEGO Store, and vice-versa.)

Prices start at 800 LEGO VIP points for a £5 voucher, and go all the way up to 16,000 LEGO VIP points for a £100 voucher. You’ll then get a discount code to use on your next order at LEGO.com or in a LEGO Store, depending on which type of voucher you’ve chosen.

Make sure to check this page regularly ahead of LEGO VIP Weekend 2021, as we’ll be updating it with all of this year’s deals as they’re announced.
