LEGO trends on Twitter as many remember their first set

TheLEGOGroup is trending on Twitter after asking followers what theirLEGOhistory looks like, with a designer even getting involved.

As the last weekend before a major day for newLEGOsets and the arrival of the upcoming price increases in select regions goes by, theLEGOGroup’s social media team has managed to get the brand trending on Twitter.

The tweet in question is well-suited to the 90th anniversary, posing a challenge to followers to recall their first, last, best, most challenging, rarest and nextLEGOset.

At the time of writing, there are around 1,500 responses to the original tweet as many share a small piece of theirLEGOcollection, includingTheLuckyLocowho highlighted21331 Sonic the Hedgehog – Green Hill Zoneas their most recent model.

With the 90th anniversary of theLEGOGroup taking place on August 10, 2022, this challenge has served as a nostalgic trip through time and a look at theLEGOportfolio in the modern day before the big day arrives.
