LEGO Super Mario additional outfits revealed

A Slovak retailer has listed a series of outfits for the LEGO Super Mario figure. The Brick Fan picked up on the four different products, which seemingly confirm previous information received by Brick Fanatics.

This year marks the 35th birthday of Super Mario, hence the launch of the LEGO theme with a digital component. An entire range will be available from August 1, with 71360 Adventures with Mario Starter Course required to play the game.

71366 Piranha Plant Power Slide Expansion Set and 71369 Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle Expansion Set are the only two expansion packs announced so farA tie-in app will also be released to complement the sets when they launch in August.

Svetmodelov.sk has listed the following lossely-translated products, which should allow fans to customise the digital figure:

71370 Fire Mario Outfit
71371 Flying Mario Outfit
71372 Cat Mario Outfit
71373 Builder Mario Outfit

The latter may well be the intrepid plumber’s red and yellow costume from the Mario Maker series. The retailer has also listed 71361 Action Cubes, which will likely be an accessory set for the game. Another Slovak retailer, Automodely, recently uploaded product pages for a host of LEGO Super Mario sets, including:

71362 Piranha Attack
71363 Desert Pokey
71364 Whomp’s Fortress
71365 Bullet Bill’s Fire
71366 Piranha Plant Power Slide
71367 Mario’s House and Yoshi
71368 Toad’s Treasure Hunt
71369 Bowser’s Castle Boss Battle

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
