An image has been released online that confirms LEGO Stranger Things and shows two minifigures based on the hit streaming series.
LEGO Stranger Things was first rumoured a while ago, but has now been confirmed thanks to an image published by LEGO retailer Lucky Bricks, with the news shared by PromoBricks. This type of image is typically used by websites to indicate product categories, suggesting a Stranger Things theme.
The image shows digital minifigure renditions of Dustin Henderson and the Demogorgon.
Stranger Things Season 1 debuted on Netflix in 2016 and received acclaim online, generating a huge fanbase. The Duffer brothers fused 1980s nostalgia with horror elements, crafting an ongoing series with an unfolding mystery for its characters to solve. Season 3 is set to launch on July 4, 2019.
Given that a midnight opening at the LEGO Store Leicester Square, London and a late night shopping event at the LEGO Store New York were recently announced for May 14/15, with a mysterious image of a folder, the clues might be coming together to point to what the special release will be.
Stranger Things Season 3 will arrive on Netflix on July 4, 2019.
