Those working on the campaign for LEGO Stranger Things 75810 The Upside Down are having a great time, as a new 1980s style television commercial illustrates.
Yesterday, LEGO Stranger Things 75810 The Upside Down was unveiled and made available for purchase. To showcase the new, the LEGO Group has released an advert on YouTube that is presented as if it is a 1980s shopping channel segment, with details suggesting that from the font through to the cheesy music. Keen LEGO fans will spot that the logo is presented as it was in the early 1980s.
While the internet was just a neat idea back when the events of Stranger Things occured in Hawkins, fans today can have LEGO sets delivered right to their door – and 75810 The Upside Down is available right now at shop.LEGO.com.
A twist partway through the trailer sees the Upside Down interrupt the broadcast. It is not the only fun video that has been released to promote the set, with the designer video also taking advantage of the 1980s fun.
Brick Fanatics has reviewed the new set, checked out the minifigures, documented the build process and interviewed Senior Model Designer Justin Ramsden.
The set, which has been reviewed by Brick Fanatics, is priced at £179.99 in the UK and $199.99 in the USA. It measures 32cm tall, 44cm wide and 21cm deep.
