During the upcoming LEGO Star Wars May the Fourth weekend, children will be able to make and take a Porg build.
LEGO Stores around the world will be celebrating the May the Fourth weekend with a product launch and special promotions. Rebelscum reports that in addition, children visiting the official brand shops will be able to build and take away a LEGO Porg. The cute little model recreates the adorable critters that were introduced in The Last Jedi. If you can’t wait until the official LEGO version, then check out the Brick Fanatics instructions for a mini Porg.
During the annual Star Wars celebration, LEGO Stores and shop.LEGO.com will launch the all new Ultimate Collector Series set, 75181 Y-wing Starfighter will get its official launch. Additionally, any LEGO Star Wars purchase over $75 (UK and Europe thresholds to be confirmed), will get 40288 BB-8 for free. This exclusive polybag includes unique printed pieces in a buildable version of the adorable ball droid.
Unlike previous years, 40288 BB-8 will not be available for the rest of the weekend. Double VIP points on LEGO Star Wars purchases will continue throughout the weekend though, with 75181 Y-wing Starfighter and 75192 Millennium Falcon excluded. Selected sets will be discounted by up to 20%.
Solo: A Star Wars Story will be released on May 24. The LEGO Star Wars sets based on the film will launch on April 20. The current range of LEGO Star Wars sets are available at shop.LEGO.com.
