Both seasons of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures removed from Disney+

Somewhat surprisingly, both seasons of LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures have now been removed from Disney+.

Whilst many new TV series, movies and exclusive content are regularly added to Disney+, it’s unusual for the streaming service to actively remove shows. However, that’s exactly what’s happened with both seasons of the animated LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures.

Produced by Wil Film, the LEGO Group and Lucasfilm Animation, LEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures debuted on Disney XD in the US in 2016. The show was available on Disney+ up until two days ago but has since been removed globally. It’s not known if contractual reasons are behind its disappearance or if and when it might return.

The show follows the Freemakers, sibling scavengers operating a salvage and repair shop. When 12-year-old Rowan Freemaker discovers the Kyber Saber, an ancient artifact with a powerful connection to the Jedi, his world is turned upside down. Along with his quick-witted older sister Kordi, ace pilot brother Zander, and a refurbished battle droid named Roger, Rowan is thrown into an epic struggle against the Empire to restore peace to the galaxy.

For now, at least, the fiveLEGO Star Wars: The Freemaker Adventures shorts are still available to watch on Disney+, but whether or not they too will be removed is not yet known.
