LEGO Star Wars fans in the USA will have the chance to take part in a make and take BB-8 build as part of the Bricktober promotional event.
The Star Wars experts at Rebelscum have shared a promotion from Toys R Us in the USA, that will see BB-8 as the subject of a LEGO make and take opportunity on October 28, from 12pm until 2pm. Typically, children are provided with the bricks and instructions to build a little model that they can then keep.
On the same day, Toys R Us stores in the USA will be offering a scavenger hunt, with a LEGO Star Wars poster the prize for those completing it. Unless the image is a placeholder, BB-8 looks to use no specialised parts – so international fans can recreate the little droid once the instructions have been shared.
On October 15 and October 22, the stores are holding LEGO building events, suggesting that children can build with LEGO elements but not take home their creations. A Spider-Man comic and City map will be given away, one for each date.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be released on December 14 in the UK and December 15 in the USA. The LEGO sets based on the upcoming movie are available now
