LEGO Star Wars 75292 The Razor Crest reverts to original name

Following the resolution of a trademark issue, 75292 The Razor Crest has been renamed, ending this chapter for the LEGO Star Wars set.

Towards the end of 2020, 75292 The Razor Crest was renamed on the UK version of LEGO.com to 75292 The Mandalorian Bounty Hunter Transport after an issue with the trademark of the Star Wars ship’s name, which was at the time held by Michael Gaßmann and not Disney worldwide.

The US online store followed suit, opting for the longer title instead. However, reports that Lucasfilm had reclaimed the trademark in 2021 raised the question of whether the set’s name would change around the world.

That question has now been answered as 75292 The Razor Crest has reverted to the original title on official online stores in the UK, Europe and the US, suggesting that the trademark dispute has been resolved enough for the LEGO Group to use the original title.

Currently, the model is out of stock in the US, but you can sign up for our LEGO Stock Alerts to know when it returns as the model was determined to be a must-have for LEGO Star Wars fans in our in-depth review.

Alternatively, the smaller 75321 The Razor Crest Microfighter has recently been released and also has a review to read through with a gallery of images.

  1. So it’s gone back to Slave 1 then. Great, you can stop refering to it as razorcrest now.
