Rumours reveal what may be the five new LEGO Star Wars sets and accompanying minifigures that will be released for the 20th anniversary.
It was recently confirmed that a wave of LEGO Star Wars sets will celebrate the theme’s 20th anniversary and launch in April. The theme launched back in 1999 with traditional yellow minifigures, which Brick Fanatics first rumoured back in August would return in these special sets.
Now, Rebelscum is reporting what may be the names of the new sets, and which special commemorative minifigures will be included in each:
75243 Slave I – Princess Leia
75258 Anakin’s Podracer – Luke Skywalker
75259 Snowspeeder – Lando Calrissian
75261 Clone Scout Walker – Darth Vader
75262 Imperial Dropship – Han Solo
According to the website, the minifigures will have special printing on the back to mark the occasion: “20 Years – LEGO Star Wars 1999-2019″. Reportedly they will also come with two unique accessories – gold blasters and special Collectible Minifigure type baseplates.
All of this information should be treated as rumour until officially confirmed by the LEGO Group or Lucasfilm.
Star Wars: Episode IX will be released in cinemas on December 20, 2019.
