LEGO Ideas Black Friday discounts

While the LEGO Group’s crowdsourced theme doesn’t typically enjoy steep discounts – most of its sets are either exclusive to LEGO.com and LEGO Stores, or only appear at selected third-party retailers – we have seen occasional offers on some LEGO Ideas sets over the years, including 21319 Central Perk and 21304 Doctor Who.

That means LEGO Ideas Black Friday deals aren’t off the table altogether, and with a bigger range than ever currently available at LEGO.com, there’s plenty that could be in the running – from 21321 International Space Station and 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay to 92177 Ship in a Bottle and 21318 Tree House.

LEGO Ideas Blacksmith Black Friday deals

This year’s 21325 Medieval Blacksmith is to LEGO Castle what 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay was to LEGO Pirates in 2020: essentially, a celebration of all that was great about a classic theme, using modern parts and techniques to go above and beyond basically all those original sets. Clemens Fiedler’s design has translated into one of the best LEGO Ideas sets currently on shelves, so it could be a hot-ticket item come Black Friday.

And even if the LEGO Group doesn’t choose to offer any immediate discount on 21325 Medieval Blacksmith across LEGO VIP Weekend, Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the £134.99 / $149.99 / €149.99 set should still get you at least part (if not all) of the way to qualifying for this year’s gifts-with-purchase.

LEGO Ideas Dinosaur Fossils Black Friday deals

21320 Dinosaur Fossils is one of three LEGO Ideas sets apparently retiring in 2021, which means you don’t have long left to grab it. Black Friday could be the ideal opportunity to snag the paleontological set before it becomes just another LEGO fossil, and hopefully with some kind of retiring-soon discount to boot.

The other two LEGO Ideas sets leaving shelves by the end of this year are 92177 Ship in a Bottle – a re-release of 2018’s 21313 Ship in a Bottle – and 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay, which is arguably among the LEGO Group’s greatest sets of all time, even beyond the Ideas portfolio.

Take it from us: you really don’t want to miss out on the 2-in-1 homage to all things LEGO Pirates, so next time it pops up on LEGO.com – it’s spent much of the past couple of months temporarily out of stock – it could even be worth taking the plunge ahead of Black Friday. If you do hang on until November, though, there’s a chance both 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay and 92177 Ship in a Bottle could see some decent discounts at LEGO.com.
