LEGO Ideas Activity wants your autumn builds

Autumn has descended upon Denmark, so the LEGO Ideas team is asking for your builds using autumnal colours.

The latest LEGO Ideas activity requires builders to break out their red, yellow and orange bricks and come up with something seasonal. Here’s the official description of what the team is after:

“It’s Autumn time here in Denmark, could you build something using just autumn colors…?”

If you want to get involved, head over to the dedicated webpage to share your creations.

This activity is part of a series on LEGO Ideas that provides a quick and easy entry point for builders. There are no prizes on offer: instead, they’re simply a way to get involved with little time commitment. Each challenge is intended to be something quick and fun, sitting in contrast to the more in-depth building required for a competition or product idea.

The deadline for this activity is November 10 at 10.00am CEST.

Two competitions are currently running over at LEGO IdeasThe first is a festive contest with a huge LEGO Star Wars prize bundle, and the second gives winners the chance to have their models put on display at Billund’s LEGO Campus.

Two LEGO Ideas sets have just been brought back from retirement purgatory. 92176 NASA Apollo Saturn V is now available globally at LEGO.com, while 92177 Ship in a Bottle is on sale for US fans.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
