LEGO Ideas 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay available now

Fans can now order LEGO Ideas 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay, a model that pays homage to the classic LEGO theme.

LEGO Ideas 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay is available now exclusively at LEGO.com. It is two models in one, as the 2,545 piece set builds a detailed shipwreck island that can be reconfigured as a modern version of the beloved LEGO set, 6285 Black Seas Barracuda.

As well as eight minifigures, the set includes LEGO Pirates staples such as a shark, rowboat and jolly roger flags. It is packed with details and references to the 31-year-old theme.

21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay is priced at £179.99 in the UK and $199.99 in the USA. The enormous set measures 59cm high, 64cm wide and 32cm deep.

Fan designer Pablo Sánchez Jiménez saw his product idea achieve 10,000 votes in just 25 days. He originally came up with the concept as a homage to LEGO Pirates, which launched 31 years ago and has been a fan-favourite ever since.

Here is the official production description:

Rekindle nostalgic memories of childhood LEGO construction projects with this LEGO Ideas 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay shipwreck island model for display and play. Enjoy some calm, quality time alone building – or share the fun with others.

Discover the captain’s cabin, food store, kitchen, bedrooms, supply dock, farm, toilet, jail cell, tavern and hidden treasure, plus lots of fun accessories, 8 pirate minifigures, assorted animal figures and 2 skeleton figures to inspire action-packed stories. This set includes an island that can be split in half and rearranged. The shipwreck can also be dismantled and reassembled to make a ship inspired by the Black Seas Barracuda pirate ship LEGO model from 1989.

31109 Pirate Ship will also be released, as part of the Creator theme, this summer.

LEGO Ideas 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay is available now, exclusively at LEGO.com.
