LEGO House remains closed indefinitely

Following guidance from the Danish government, the LEGO House will remain closed until further notice.

The team at the LEGO House, the attraction based in Billund, Denmark, has confirmed that there is currently no fixed re-opening date. With restrictions in place to limit the spread of coronavirus, the LEGO House is currently closed.

Here is the official statement:

The long awaited statement from the Danish Prime Minister on Thursday did unfortunately not change the situation for LEGO House. We still hope that we’ll be able to open before the summer holidays but nothing is for certain yet. Therefore LEGO House is still closed until further notice.

Thankfully, the LEGO House will be sharing content on social media to bring a little of the Home of the Brick’s spirit to fans around the world. It will include “tips and building tricks for family co-building at home.”

Brick Fanatics feature: Building in the LEGO House

This will also include interviews with AFOLs who currently have their models on display in the Masterpiece Gallery, with the first one featuring UK builder Caz Mockett.

As had been promised, for the first time LEGO House exclusive sets are available to order at LEGO.com. 21037 LEGO House, 4000026 Tree of Creativity and 40366 LEGO House Dinosaurs are all available at the official online shop, albeit with some restrictions based on location.

To continue to support the work of Brick Fanatics, please buy your LEGO sets from LEGO.com and Amazon using our affiliate links.
