LEGO Harry Potter polybag includes multiple build options
A new image has revealed that an upcoming LEGO Harry Potter polybag may include the option to build eight versions of one model.
The Building Instructions portal on LEGO.com recently revealed a first look at four new polybags for 2022. Images have been discovered showing 30435 Build Your Own Hogwarts Castle, 30584 Winter Holiday Train, 30590 Farm Garden & Scarecrow and 30510 90 Years of Cars.
The image of 30435 Build Your Own Hogwarts Castle has three different versions of the famous Wizarding school, but new details reveal it may be possible to construct even more. The Building Instructions portal has an updated image of the polybag, with eight different Hogwarts models surrounding the accompanying Professor Dumbledore minifigure.
Having the option to rebuild LEGO models is of course nothing new, with alternate instructions often available in sets or from the official site. However, the ability to remake the contents of a small polybag into so many different versions of the same locale must surely have presented the LEGO designers with a real creative challenge.
30435 Build Your Own Hogwarts Castle also includes a Collectable Wizard Cards 2×2 tile, with the pieces first appearing in 20thanniversary sets last summer. It’s not yet known if the tile included with this polybag will be in addition to the 16 that were confirmed in 2021 or simply a repeat of an existing piece.
None of the upcoming 2022 LEGO polybags have confirmed release dates so far, but we’ll bring you more information as soon as we have the details.
