During the 2019 International Licensing Awards, LEGO Harry Potter won another industry award.
LEGO Harry Potter has picked up a few awards already, and went on to pick up another at 2019 International Licensing Awards. Ahead of the event, which took place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas during Licensing Expo, 600 entries were judged by 150 industry experts.
In the Toys/Games/Novelties for age 0-12 category, the LEGO Group tied with Jazwares, with both companies awarded for the Harry Potter range and the Fortnite Llama Loot Piñata, respectively.
“2018 was an incredible year for our industry, which is reflected in this slate of winners and honourees,” says Maura Regan, president, Licensing International. “It’s been particularly satisfying to see the increasingly international nature of the licensing business reflected throughout the entire awards process. Congratulations to the winners, who showcase the creativity and innovation that makes our global industry tick.”
