LEGO Friends 41346 Friendship Box and Advent Calendar announced

Two new LEGO Friends sets have been announced at the International Toy Fair, namely 41346 Friendship Box and 41353 Friends Advent Calendar.

Zusammengebaut attended the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg, Germany and visited the LEGO show room, where the new LEGO Friends sets were announced. Unfortunately, photography of the upcoming sets was not permitted, but fans at least have an idea of what will be released later this year.

41346 Friendship Box will be different to the usual mini-doll scale sets, with builds that are designed for children to role play with. These will be based around the different hobbies of the five main Friends characters, including a microphone, sporting trophy and small robot. The price will be €49.99.

This year will see a change in format for the Christmas countdown, although fans will have to wait a little longer to find out just what that means for 41353 Friends Advent Calendar. Zusammengebaut cryptically explains the modified format:

This December is different from everything: The LEGO Friends Advent Calendar comes with 24 buildable structures in the Friends optics of the way – but not in the Mini Doll scale. I do not want to reveal too much here, but it’s really great little structure there. The only catch: 19,99 EUR the calendar costs due to the larger number of stones for models coming winter 29,99 euros.

41346 Friendship Box is expected to launch on June 1, 41353 Friends Advent Calendar is expected to launch on August 1. The current LEGO Friends sets are available to buy at shop.LEGO.com.
