The LEGO FORMA team has published online instructions for the sets including specific instructions for attaching the skins.
With LEGO FORMA sets now having shipped to fans, the team behind the project has shared the instructions online that show how to build the model, with additional video instructions that show how to add the koi and shark skins.
In addition to the instructions, blank skins for the koi and the shark have been released. These can be downloaded and printed, coloured either before or after printing, then cut out and attached to the main frame that is in 81000 Koi Model. They follow the idea behind 81003 Ink Koi Skin, which is intended for fans to colour in themselves and choose their own pattern.
Fans could order the products via Indiegogo last year in order guarantee one of the new sets when they launch. It was not a traditional case of crowdfunding, instead the LEGO Group has funded the project and used the Indiegogo platform to reach a broader audience beyond already engaged LEGO fans, hoping to tap into new segments of the adult leisure market.
