LEGO for Adults 10293 Santa’s Visit launches in VIP early access

This year’s festive new addition to the LEGO Winter Village Collection is now available to order worldwide through VIP early access.

10293 Santa’s Visit depicts a classic Christmas storytelling moment, reverting back to a more realistic Winter Village setting after 2019’s 10267 Gingerbread House and 2020’s 10275 Elf Club House. Well, apart from the bit where Santa comes down the chimney. (We hope you’re not letting your kids read this out to you.)

The brand new, black-booted Father Christmas minifigure can indeed slide down the chimney of the bright blue house in 10293 Santa’s Visit, though, in one of several highlights designer Chris McVeigh revealed to Brick Fanatics earlier this year.

There’s surely plenty more to discover across 10293 Santa’s Visit’s 1,445 pieces, too, but best leave some surprises for the build. Whether you choose to sit on it until December or put it together right away, you can now order 10293 Santa’s Visit from LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores wherever you are in the world – as long as the LEGO Group delivers to you, and as long as you’re a VIP member.

If you’re not already signed up to the official LEGO loyalty program, becoming a member is easy – and, more importantly, absolutely free. Plus, you’ll get access to sets ahead of their official launch (like 10293 Santa’s Visit, which won’t be available to everyone else until October 1), along with points on every purchase to spend on future orders and exclusive rewards.

10293 Santa’s Visit retails for £79.99 in the UK, $99.99 in the US and from €89.99 in Europe. An accompanying exclusive Xmas set, 40499 Santa’s Sleigh, will launch on October 1.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
