The theme formerly known as Creator Expert was rebranded earlier this year as LEGO for Adults (following a short spell of being known only as ‘18+’, referring to the age mark on its all-black boxes). And that marketing shift has also expanded the line’s eclectic spread of sets, embracing buildable plants, football stadiums and more.

That positions LEGO for Adults as one of the LEGO Group’s most versatile and varied themes, making it one to watch across Black Friday. Indeed, some of the very best LEGO sets for adults could be in the mix, including 10261 Roller Coaster, 10273 Haunted House and 10274 Ghostbusters ECTO-1.

And even if recent showstoppers like 10278 Police Station and 10276 Colosseum don’t see discounts, they’ll still help to qualify for any of this year’s gifts-with-purchase.

LEGO Creator Expert modular buildings Black Friday deals

The current line-up of LEGO Creator Expert modular buildings includes 10255 Assembly Square, 10264 Corner Garage, 10270 Bookshop and 10278 Police Station. Of those, 10264 Corner Garage will reportedly be retiring by the end of 2021, making Black Friday potentially one of the last opportunities to pick it up.

We’ve seen plenty of retiring sets enjoy generous discounts across previous Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping events, so look out for deals on 10264 Corner Garage at LEGO.com this year.

LEGO Winter Village Black Friday deals

10267 Gingerbread House – the oldest currently-available LEGO Winter Village Collection set – will be retiring this year, presumably to make way for whatever’s joining 10275 Elf Club House and 10293 Santa’s Visit in 2022. If you want to grab the fantastical (and fantastic) set before it’s gone for good, add it to your shopping list for Black Friday: not only will it help you qualify for gifts-with-purchase, but it could even go on sale as it heads out the door.

Plus, it should turn up just in time to build it while getting in the festive spirit, because once Black Friday is out of the way, Christmas will be right around the corner…

LEGO Creator Expert cars Black Friday deals

The LEGO Group consistently knocks it out of the park with its LEGO cars for adults, and three of its best Creator Expert vehicles will be retiring in 2021 – which makes them prime candidates for Black Friday deals. According toBrick Fanatics’ sources, 10258 London Bus, 10262 James Bond Aston Martin DB5 and 10269 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy will all depart shelves by the end of the year, and could therefore all see tempting discounts in November.

LEGO for Adults / LEGO Creator Expert retiring sets Black Friday deals

Alongside a modular building, a Winter Village set and three vehicles, 10261 Roller Coaster and 10277 Crocodile Locomotive are also due to retire from the LEGO Creator Expert range this year. The former has been on shelves since 2018, and remains one of the LEGO Group’s most impressive Fairground Collection sets, while the latter only launched in 2020 – making it one of the shortest-lived LEGO Creator Expert sets to date.

That comparatively-reduced shelf life could well see it shoot up in price on the aftermarket post-retirement, so keep an eye out for any deals on 10277 Crocodile Locomotive if you’ve got any skin in the LEGO investing game.
