LEGO Fantastical Football events taking place in July
All sorts of sporting activities are taking place at LEGOLAND Windsor and other locations in July, thanks to the upcoming Fantastical Football event.
As an official partner of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 tournament, the LEGO Group is getting involved with all sorts of football-based activities this year. The company has already committed to championing girls and removing ‘gender bias’ and ‘harmful stereotypes’ from its products and packaging.
Most recently, LEGO VIP members were able to spend their points and grab exclusive tickets for 23 UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 fixtures. Needless to say, even with each set of five tickets going for a whopping 12,500 points, all of the rewards have now been snapped up.
Next up will be Fantastical Football, an event being hosted at LEGOLAND Windsor from July 9 to July 19. Visitors to the resort during those dates will be able to take part in all sorts of sporting activities including a special club house, brick build giveaways, football drill games and photo opportunities with a LEGO replica trophy.
In addition, the Fantastical Football activities will also be taking place at two other venues in the UK this month. Manchester’s Piccadilly Gardens will be the location to be at from July 6 to July 31 at 11am to 6pm each day for plenty of LEGO fun and games, plus live match screenings and football taster sessions.
London’s Trafalgar Square will then feature a nine-day fan party taking place on July 23 to July 31 from 11am to 6pm. There you’ll be able to watch a free live screening of the UEFA Women’s EURO 2022 final, plus experience panel discussions, interviews and music and even play on a pop-up football pitch.
