LEGO DOTS is presented in the USA at New York Toy Fair

After debuting in London at the House of DOTS, the new LEGO DOTS theme has travelled stateside for an unveiling at New York Toy Fair.

LEGO DOTS is a new entry by the LEGO Group into the arts and craft market, with a mix of brick-built home décor items and wearable bracelets that can be covered with 1×1 LEGO tiles – also known as DOTS. The theme is on display at New York Toy Fair for the next few days to give retailers and media a glimpse at the new products ahead of their launch on March 1.

The products were first revealed at a launch event that also saw the opening of the HOUSE OF DOTS, a collaboration between the LEGO Group and artist Camille Walala.

LEGO DOTS 41906 Pineapple Pencil Holder review

LEGO DOTS inspires creative confidence that helps children thrive by giving them a new way to express their feelings, ideas and personalities,” says Michael McNally, Senior Director of Brand Relations at LEGO Systems. “Bright colored tiles and endless pattern combinations help kids reflect their personal style, and because the tiles are compatible with the LEGO System in Play, there are limitless ways kids can ‘dot’ their worlds.”

In an exclusive interview with Brick Fanatics, LEGO Design Lead and LEGO MASTERS judge Amy Corbett revealed how the theme developed and became the mix of buildable items and bracelets that will arrive in stores soon.
