LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 21 vignettes – Alien

There’s an intergalactic jewel thief on the loose in our latest LEGO Collectible Minifigures 71029 Series 21 vignette.

The blind-bagged series is no stranger to alien characters, but this is the first time we’ve seen one in what looks to be an orange outer-space prison jumpsuit. Add in the crowbar and jewel, and we’ve got the makings of a sci-fi criminal on our hands.

That interpretation is further supported by the presence of a brand new Space Police minifigure in the same series. Make sure to check back tomorrow for our buildable environment for that character, and how it pairs perfectly with this vignette for a wider sci-fi display. In the meantime, keep scrolling to see what we’ve devised for this sneaky alien minifigure, or click here to see all the builds we’ve put together for 71029 Series 21.

Alien

An alien thief needs an alien safe to crack, but he can’t just walk out the front door. We’ve therefore used the vertical space in this vignette to create an escape hatch for our crafty criminal, giving him an easy exit – but as we’ll see tomorrow, the authorities are in close pursuit. The clean white look of the containment space contrasts brightly with the brickwork below, while the relatively recent triangular tiles make for an intriguing wall pattern.

Check back each weekday for a new vignette inspired by Collectible Minifigures 71029 Series 21. To see more of Justin’s LEGO builds, check out his Flickr page, where his handle is justin_m_winn.
