Londoners, rejoice: the LEGO Group has revealed its latest landmark Architecture set, 21045 Trafalgar Square, and it’s a beauty.
We’ve lost count of the number of different ways LEGO sets are revealed these days, but this still feels like a first. The above image of 21045 was published as the header photo on an official LEGO Facebook event, advertising a signing event later this month.
If you’re based in London – or even just in the area – on April 27, Trafalgar Square’s designer Rok Zgalin Kobe will be at the Leicester Square LEGO Store from 11:00am to 2:00pm. You’ll be able to pick up an early copy of 21045 and have it signed by Rok, with a limit of two sets per person.
The model captures all the iconic elements of one of London’s most famous landmarks, including the National Gallery, Nelson’s Column, the fountains, the lion statues, and even throws in a couple of red double-decker buses for good measure.
There’s no word yet on when the set will hit wide release, but expect it to do so alongside the other upcoming Architecture set, 21046 Empire State Building.
