LEGO 2×4 brick metal keychain available as VIP reward

The LEGO Group has launched a new 2×4 metal brick keychain through the VIP Rewards Centre.

Products like this are typically released as gifts with purchase, like the Han Solo in Carbonite metal keychain, which was free with a spend of £100 / $100 at LEGO.com in November. But in this case, you can simply buy the brick outright.

You won’t be able to use cash to do so, of course, because the VIP Rewards Centre currency of choice is VIP points, which you can earn on purchases at LEGO.com and in LEGO Stores. You’ll need 950 points to acquire the keychain, which equals roughly £5.94 in VIP Rewards Vouchers.

As with all VIP rewards, though, you’ll need to create an order and pay shipping – unless you bundle it in with sets totalling £50 or more, and thereby qualify for free shipping.

Just like this year’s Han Solo in Carbonite metal keychain, the brick comes in a neat presentation box, making it a great gift for yourself or a LEGO-loving loved one this Christmas. But don’t expect stock to hang around – VIP rewards like this are often limited in nature, so act fast if you want it.

I like to think of myself as a journalist first, LEGO fan second, but we all know that’s not really the case. Journalism does run through my veins, though, like some kind of weird literary blood – the sort that will no doubt one day lead to a stress-induced heart malfunction. It’s like smoking, only worse. Thankfully, I get to write about LEGO until then. You can follow me on Twitter at @brfa_chris.
