Today is your last chance to get free delivery at LEGO.com in time for Christmas.
The UK site’s cut-off date for standard delivery in time for December 25 is today (December 18) at 10.59pm. After that, you’ll need to pay extra for express delivery to ensure your order arrives before Christmas. The faster delivery option is a flat rate of £21 no matter what you’re buying, so it’s definitely worth putting any last-minute orders in today to avoid that eye-watering fee.
You’ll need to spend £50 to qualify for free standard delivery. If your order comes in lower than that, though, LEGO.com’s normal shipping rate is just £3.95, so it won’t break the bank.
Don’t forget, there are two offers currently still available at the online store. A purchase of £150 will bag you 40416 Ice Skating Rink, while 5006482 Holiday Gift Set 2020 is now being added to every order, regardless of value. Those gifts stack, so a £150 spend will net you both freebies.
It’s no secret that the LEGO Group has had a few inventory issues over the past couple of months, with stock constantly fluctuating in the run-up to Christmas. There’s plenty available to buy now, though, even if some of it is on back order. (We’re sure your gift recipient will enjoy an order confirmation note for Xmas.)
