Even more LEGO Stores are closing as more of the UK enters tier 4

With the expansion of tier 4 across the UK, many more LEGO stores are set to close their doors for the foreseeable future, but some few are staying open for now.

The UK government announced tonight that more regions across the UK would be entering tier 3 and 4 as part of the ongoing effort against COVID-19. With these new regulations, many more LEGO stores will be closing as a new year of LEGO sets is on the horizon.

As previously reported, certain stores were already closed as part of the initial tier 4 expansion including, Watford, Bluewater, Milton Keynes, Brighton, Southampton, London Stratford, Leicester Square, London Westfield in England and Glasgow and Cardiff in Wales and Scotland.

Now, the following stores are closing from midnight tonight until the tier 4 restrictions are lifted; Birmingham, Edinburgh, Metrocentre Newcastle and Manchester.

UK LEGO fans still wanting to visit a LEGO store with the new 2021 LEGO sets out in just a few days can do so at just four UK stores. Those stores include Sheffield, Bristol, Liverpool and Leeds.

Currently, the LEGO Group is struggling with standard delivery orders to the UK with freight travel and borders being affected by nationwide restrictions.
