LEGO celebrity fan Ed Sheeran has donated a number of his personal possessions to a charity shop, including LEGO brick busts.
One of the best known celebrity LEGO fans, singer Ed Sheeran, has donated a number of items to a charity shop in his hometown. The artist behind LEGO House gave the donations to St Elizabeth Hospice in Framlingham, Suffolk, which is the town he grew up in.
Two of the donated possessions are a LEGO bust and LEGO BrickHeadz model of Sheeran, both that he built himself while on tour, amidst other items including guitar stands, his first record player and clothing.
“It’s fantastic, he always remembers Framlingham, which is nice,” Rachail Pollard, the shop manager told SWNS. “It’s wonderful for the hospice.”
Many of the items will be sold on eBay to maximise the fundraising potential. In 2016, the charity shop sold 13 bags of the singer’s clothes for £2,500. St Elizabeth Hospice’s mission statement is to improve life for people living with progressive and terminal illnesses.
