The LEGO Group are introducing four new mini builds, specifically created for Malaysia. Each of the four mini builds represents a wonder of Malaysian culture.
Lego Malaysia Senior Marketing Manager Jacob Leighton Rennison spoke to the Malay Mail about creating something specific for the country.
“It doesn’t happen often in Lego history and we’re proud at Lego Malaysia to have gotten this past the finish-line,” he said after the launching of Lego Malaysia #BuildAmazingMY campaign at Pavilion KL, today.
The limited edition Malaysian cultural mini builds which consist of the national flower or hibiscus, a traditional village house, ‘wau’ and ‘ketupat’ will be released every Saturday for a month from May 27.
It wouldn’t be a LEGO promotional campaign without a world record attempt, intending to build the largest LEGO mosaic in the country. The LEGO Malaysia Facebook page is the place to go for information about the releases and build activity.
