Brick Pic of the Day: 08 September 16
Image: kaitain
This rather magnificent display features the ship Mayflower which was originally commissioned for the Warren Elsmore book ‘Brick History’ (which I reviewed here a little while ago for Brick Fanatics). The map display base was then created as a means of showing off the ship at public shows with microscale vignettes in the 4 corners showing scenes from the Mayflower’s journey.
You can see more images of the Mayflower and much more on kaitain’s Flickr account here.
Don’t forget to get in touch with [email protected] if you’ve got a MOC or LEGO photos you’d like to see featured on our Brick Pic of the Day.
Profile
- Hello, I’m Séb, your friendly neighbourhood AFOL.
As a child, Lego was always my favourite toy and now as an adult it appears nothing has changed. I emerged from my dark ages in 2011 after rediscovering my old sets in my parents’ attic and haven’t looked back since.
I’m a big fan of the licensed themes particularly DC/Marvel Superheroes & Lord Of The Rings, though Creator Expert provides the more challenging & technical build I’m rather fond of.
