Updated LEGO Build a Minifigure experience now available
The beta version of the LEGO Build a Minifigure experience is back up and running, offering a mix of parts for making your very own creations.
The LEGO Build a Minifigure experience has been unavailable recently, with the beta version of the site down for maintenance work. The good news is that everything now seems to be functioning again and visitors can try their hands at creating their own unique minifigures.
As with the Build a Minifigure bar in LEGO Stores, you can make three of your own minifigures for £5.97 in the UK, with a fee of £1.99 for additional characters. It’s possible to assemble your own minifigures by using a range of pieces including heads, hairstyles, outfits and accessories. Once completed, just add the minifigures to your bag and check out as usual. Minifigures will take between 11 and 15 business days to arrive in the UK and there’s no additional shipping fee to pay.
There’s a pretty decent range of pieces currently available, offering enough variations of minifigures to make purchases worthwhile. Plus, if you find yourself stuck for creative ideas, just select the ‘Random’ option and you’ll be presented with all sorts of wacky characters to choose from. We’re hoping that an even wider selection of elements will be added to the experience as the site continues to develop and moves beyond its initial beta phase.
The LEGO Build a Minifigure experience is currently available in the UK, Europe and Asia-Pacific countries, with rollouts to follow in additional territories.
